I'm looking at purchasing a set of 351W heads to put on my 94 gt. I'm getting them cheap from a friend. I just want to make sure they will fit and if they will, will I need a different set of headers other then my short tube MAC's? I will also be runing a victor jr. intake. Thanks for the input Steve

As long as they're a standard port location, your current headers will be fine. Otherwise, there's really no difference in a 302 head vs. a 351, except that the 351 uses 1/2" head bolts, so you'll need bushings (Edelbrock makes some) to fit the 7/16" bolts for the 302.

You can get some bushings that will allow you to use 3/8" bolts with the 351 heads, which are designed for 1/2" bolts. Other than that, 351 and 302 heads are pretty much the same, so you can use regular 302 headers too.

Depends what casting they are. You gotta remember that Ford used the E7TE (same as our stock heads) in the 351 trucks/vans with no difference other than different springs and larger head bolt holes, so they could very well be worse than what you're running already.
