How far can you bore a 351w before you're getting the walls to thin (does that make any sense? I want to know how much over is too much over)? We found a 69 block that's already .30 over. the cylinder walls are supposed to be fine (still have to look at it), but I know .30 over is pretty much the limit on a 302. What's the limit on a 351w?

Woo-hoo, we might have a winner then. $150 for the block & crank sound reasonable?

That sounds like a good price to me. What year is the block?

Have the machine shop check it out. If a good honing is all it needs, I would not bore it. Reason being that if you rebuild it and something goes wrong later that messes up a cylinder or two, then you still have room to bore it versus sleeving or finding another bock. Just my opinion.
