Make sure there is nothing from keeping the air plenum from sitting flat on the intake. Sometimes it bottoms out elsewhere and you need to put a spacer and 2 gaskets between them.
I assume you are running a cam with the 302 firing order. In past I have seen 351W cams with a different firing order.
