351w

Hey Guys, finally got the 351w engine block from a friend, its sitting in my garage. My question, is it worth it to build, or should I just try and build the stock 302. The only thing about the 302 is, to much power and it will crack. If the 351 can handle 500hp it would be perfect. I also heard that 351w engine swap is no easy task. I'm stuck. Does anybody what rwhp 351w can handle. Advice, imput, opinions.

The 351w is a great engine. The swap is not that hard. It does however involve buy a few different swap parts. I love the 351w in my car. Vristang has a sticky of whats all involved in the swap.

Keep the 351w. Bore and stroke to a 427. You'll be making as **** load of power with it. Possibly 500/NA with the right H/C/I.

**** it. Keep the 302. 351w is junk. Ill get rid of it for you. Just drop it off at my house.

Vristang has done the research for you all. I kinda just bumbled through this swap on my own. I wish i would have been a member of Stangnet 6 years ago. it would have been easier.
