4:10 gears gas milage...

Hey guys. Quick question for you that have the 4:10 gears on you S197 manual. Currently I get roughly 17 mpg city and about 21 mpg hwy. I am interested in getting 4:10 gears. I drive 25 miles to work hwy only, and I don't want to sacrifice my gas milage too much. If you have the 4:10 gears, please post your mpg for me. I tried loking through the sticky, but it was taking forever to find the 4:10 mpg. Thanks in advance!

I have an 06 automatic. I was getting 23 mpg combined driving when it was new. I put 4:10 gears and my mileage went to 20 combined. When I supercharged I get between 15-17.

You only get 21 mpg highway or is that 21mpg along with city driving? I average 21 mpg per tank that's combined city/highway, straight highway I get 30mpg with the cruise set to 60mph. I'ld say you'ld lose about 1 - 1.5 mpg highway
