4.10 question

I am new to the mustang world just got an 02 sonic blue 5 speed.I have headers,magnaflow pipes,steda shifter,k&n intake,and i just ordered a 4.10,and aluminum driveshaft.The shop installing the gears said i may need a differant carrier.Is this true?Have stock gears now and cant wait to feel the dif.
