i was thinking of getting a 2800 stall and 410's in my car. the question is will i run out of gear before i get through the traps? i just dont want to be topped out before i get to the end of the 1/4.
3200 stall and 4.10s, though i'm only running about 100mph in the traps. Not to mention, i only have 50 serious tires in the back. If you run taller slicks or DRs it'll be like bringing your gear down to something around a 4.0 or 3.90 depending on how tall your tires are. My engine is pretty much out of steam by 100mph though and hiway driving suuuuucks.
