4....5....point harnesses..looking for opinions

Safety Concern

Do not use 4 or 5 pt. belts w/o a cage or roll bar.....

4 and 5 point harnesses may look cool but they are extremely dangerous without a cage or rollbar!

Think about it for a second...
If you happen to roll the car and you are "strapped" in an upright position without a cage or roll bar you will be crushed..

With a 3 pt. belt (no cage/rollbar) in a rollover your upper body will be able to move or be forced into the area inside your car below the roofline.
Thus increasing your chances for survival

Yea, I think it would look better if you had seats with the slots for the harness, but it might still look ok with stock style seats. I'm going to have to use a harness with the stock seats for a little bit cuz of the track's rules and I'm sure other people have to do the same. Does anybody have pictures of a harness on a stock seat so we can have a visual?

I assure you that I had good intentions..
I did read the post and I missed the part about the cage.

I probably jumped on this to quickly as I have seen so many people installing/wearing 4 and 5pt harnesses w/o a cage..
You may go back to your hall monitor duties.
