cams- same plus variable duration lifters.
full roller rockers tip and fulcrum.
heads- stock good for 260 hp. everything up to yates canted valve heads. canted valve heads don't shroud and don't rely on laminar flow as much. 4 valve pushrod heads available.
short stroke large bore. low piston velocities = bullet proof. I ran a stock crank to 6900 for years. still have it and motor in garage ready for action if i get tired of trying to make power with thid car.
a million choices for transmissions. SROD(sucked) top loader, t5 and all older autos.
aftermarket blocks that handle 1500 hp not too expensive.
stoker to 340 CU.IN
can kick LS anything ass for less money.
rebuild part to include low tension rings low priced.
a million fuelie parts. nitrous of all kinds cheap.
simple cheap carb blowers available.
simple, easy to access bolt on's.
sounds cooler.
down sides limited to factory block strength.
monster bottom end torque that 4.6 can only dream of.

for the money we will spend on a KB blower, 5.0 can be built for as much naturally aspirated HP. for example 400 RWHP
