4 cylinder t-5?

The bell housing will not work. You will have to get from a t-5 v8 car. You will also need to get a different pilot bearing/bushing that will fit the 4cyl imput shaft. You can use a 4cyl trans behind a v8, however I do not recommend it...because unless you drive like my grandma your going to shell it out.

Everything will bolt up fine. The gear ratios are a lot lower then the standard t-5. I have had mine since 2002 it has been daily driven and not the easiest. Now the only thing you have to change is the pilot bearing i dont remember the number i think it is a 202 car quest that is all i remember

Copied from a stanger whose name i have forgotten...

The pilot bearing you need is for a Ford Ranger diesel from AutoZone part #14672 - hope this helps!!!
