I currently have a forged 408 roller shortblock. I have a set of World Sr. (2.02/1.60's 200cc in my garage. Would you bother putting these on, or would you save for a while and get a set of AFR/TFS heads. Im torn because I already have these world heads!!!!!!

depends on how desperate you are to get the car on the road. they'd most likely run out of steam by 4500 or so. if you are not in a hurry, then sell them and put the money towards the new heads

me .. i'd get them on and drive it while saving up for new heads.

I was looking to get the heads you have (AFR 205's w/72cc comb chmbs) which since my compression ratio is 10:1 with 64cc chambers (Sr. heads). Ive heard 10:1 is high for iron heads..really dont know if I should take a chance with my rotating assy? the 72cc's would bring me to 9.4:1. Thanks for the reply!

Your cam can take care of that.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I wouldn't waste your time with the Windsor Sr. heads. Save up some money for a good set of heads.

There's nothing wrong with Windsor sr. heads as long as you go in and clean them up a little. They respond very well to a bowl blend and some valve guide boss tapering, mine picked up 20 cfm+ @ almost every lift including a good valve job. Now 277 cfm at .600

I had very similar results on a customer of mine who had to run iron heads, with some work they can work well. I also had good results by working on the short turn radius a little. Now I would rather see a set of AFR205s on there
