I guess it depends on how much room you need. They definitely look odd on a II though, it's almost cartoonish.

Soooooooo... (crickets chirping)
Updates.
Rest of my fibreglass shipped out yesterday, should be here in a week (truck freight). That order has front and rear tucked bumpers, front valance and spoiler, and hood.
Meantime I am going to start sectioning the hood tonight or when ever I get done installing a kitchen sink and taps for my daughter..its a 70 year old house so.....yeah.
The rest of the week will be spent on the II, so hopefully some pics of something shortly.

At one point here I will need to take a boring interlude to complete all the welding that is so far just tacked...but I am really putting that off.....
Meanwhile..a large version of my signature pic...lol...
Dang yellow pole..if only I had photoshop.....

Thanks!
Yeah front sits a little high in this pic as engine not in and I don't think I trimmed coils yet in that pic. but I think the 15's and 14's fill out the wheel wells nice. I always found the 13" wheels and tires just too small for the car appearance wise.

So... nobody looks at the car.... just the mess around it.
Note to self. No more shop pics till cleaned up, and use a wide angle lens..
Yes... It's not very big, although if I turn around and point the other direction there are two more bays, One of those bays has a 1968 427 Biscayne that fits in the tiny space too!....Hey there is a reason I picked a small car to work on..
Its a metal lathe over on the bench. My garage is a little more organized now (a little)

Faint black line on green tape on scoop is where I'm thinking of cutting it. Th position relative to the hood and wheel opening seem right at this placement, just need to shorten it up a little.

That cut seems to line up on edge of hood.
Didn't the honking big motor extend into the cowl area?

Is motor back in, looks to be sitting nice in the picture.

The cut does line up with the edge of the hood.
Cowl is still intact on the upper part.
Motor sits pretty decent in there

Not yet. I have the fronts. My car had the grandpa padded side holdings originally which I deleted. So I never actually had the chrome bezels for the rear side markers. I have the fronts, because my car came with the extra set of front fenders (blue ones) that had the plain chrome markers.
