I am planning on putting in 4.10s within the next month. Do i need to get a tranny cooler or will the transmission be fine without it. All i plan on doing right now is the gears as money has recently become tight. I currently am using the diablosport predator and the performance tune that it comes with. Are there any other problems that i could run into?

a tranny cooler would be a good idea anyways. You dont NEED one, but its good for even an all stock auto car. Its only $50 and will extend the life of the tranny, so why not?

Tranny cooler for $50 is cheap insurance. RJSTAAF made a great thread about tranny coolers, do a search for it if you want...

I would definitely add one. If you are using the performance tune it does alter the parameters of the transmission which is going to make it work harder. Even completely stock a tranny cooler is a good investment. Here is a thread that has links to the setup I am working on for my GT.
