Can some one tell me if 99-04 4v (cobra/mach1) headers and mid pipe will fit a 97 cobra ?

I know the 2v stuff won't fit

Trying to find a off road or high flow H -Pipe (not an X)

Yes, they all should fit each other. Look for used stuff as there are only a few small shops still making decent off road pipes. (some google searches can find them - I sourced a nice off road H for long tubes from a sketchy looking place a while back haha).

Edit for clarification - midpipes should all work for the 4v's, the headers are different mounting due to head differences.

Hard to find a second hand 4v mid pipes on marketplace around me and the few I have found are Xs not Hs

I did see one off road H on a Google search but it was around $800

Look up adae305exhaust. My longtube midpipe came from there. It looks sketchy but I paid, it shipped, and it's decent quality. It's sitting in my shed for when I get unlazy and want to do long tubes (Plus I'm running a prochamber and LOVE the sound). They had mid's for shorties and long tubes fyi.

I'll check it out, thanks!

Edit...

Ok found the site, price is good but doesn't specify 4v on the pipe.. the 4v IS different than the 2v correct?

Ok so went to install it today....Doesn't fit.... The left down pipe is bent wrong, almost like it turned in the jig or machine between bends...

If the socket lines up with the manifold the back is pointed down. And if the back lines up the socket won't seal on the manifold.

The socket itself is pretty shallow so it will need as much contact as possible not seal anyway..

I reached out to the place via their contact form on the Web site... we'll see if I get a reply...

It should be an fairly easy fix if I slice a straight section and rotate it then use a band clamp and/or reweld it but I want to see if I hear back before I start cutting

I did try to heat it and re-bend it behind the socket but couldn't get it to go

That does look like they setup the Jig incorrectly. Seems to be an easy enough fix with a chop cut. You could cut it yourself, rotate to where it would fit, mark the pipe and have someone weld it back (or you if you can weld) easy enough.

Well they never got back to me.
I installed it this weekend, one cut and one re-bend and it went one... Fit is still mediocre but for the low cost I guess what I get.

Bolted the left down pipe on so that the socket was seated properly, made the cut and realized it still had to be bent in towards the center of the car...heated and rebent, it's not pretty but it's fine (much easier with it bolted up rather than in a vise) and some clearance adder for the trans crossmember

Overall it fit and doesn't leak...id spent the $$ for a better one next time however

I think most of the issue is that there isn't much choice for an off the shelf off road pipe anymore. Kind of a get what you can get and make it work scenario.
