You would be far better off to use an early (66-77) Bronco frame. The BII is a capable little truck, but it doesn't have nearly enough GVW to haul a car on a trailer. You could do it, but the frame was never designed for that much of a load. Trust me on that....I have a pair of BIIs out back, and scrapped another one earlier this year.

Since the wheelbase on the BII is only 2 inches shorter, you could easily use a BII/MII hybrid as a wicked trail rig though.

If I build one of those, I'll use a shortened 4x4 F-250 super-duty 7.3L powerstroke chassis.

So when does my wife start looking for a new home? (DAMN, but I feel like a dirty old man! Oh, wait, what am I saying? I AM a dirty old man, eh?!)

Seriously, though, if you want a place to crash in the Vancouver BC area, let me know. My door is always open for those who love the Mustang II and the Bronco II/Ranger, and my couch is more than comfortable!

haha okay, I'll come for the scenic views but stay for the medicinal marijuana.
