I have a 99 5.0 302 motor and under acceleration from 2K to 2.5K RPM there is a rattling noise. At idle the vehicle runs fine, and even when just driving around town it runs fine and never makes noise, until I get on the highway and have to get up past 55mph. Thats when the rattling starts, especially up hills or when accelerating. I'm wondering if this issue is the timing chain? Thank you for your input!!
