Is it still possible to buy a 5.0 block brand new online? A few years ago it seems like I seen some places selling them for around $500. Right now the only thing I have found is the 4.6 block.... If anyone knows somewhere online let me know. I'd rather build another engine instead of having to pull mine first and deal with all that before hand....

Where are you located? If your anywhere near South Jersey I'll give you the number to a local core guy. He's got a lot of nice stuff and always at a reasonable price. Any reason it has to be new?

I'm in NC. No reason it has to be new really other than knowing it most likely won't be cracked and things like that. Plus I haven't been able to find a block around here for some reason. Nothing on craigslist so far. Well I have found a few on craigslist but it looks like they were sitting outside on the ground for a long time.. lol...
