Well I threw a rod bearing a while back. Never got around to building it back up. Then I moved outa town and use a company truck now. Anyway I found someone with a 5.0 H.O and he said he also has a 4.6 ohc motor that he wants 400 for. With all the efi stuff. The engine also has no more than 76k miles. I dont remember the exact. My questions are:
1. Can I bolt it up to my tranny?
2. Will it bolt up to my engine mounts?
3. Would I be better off staying with cfi than going efi, even though he will provide all the efi equipment?
4. Will my shortie headers fit? **It has stock manifolds on it now**
So far this is the cheapest engine Ive found that runs. It also looks like its in better condition than the other 5.0's I looked at. Im just not real sure about efi. Suggestions? Comments?
