I have an 89 engine that I am swapping into a car, and I plan to run boost.
I am trying to figure out if any of the ports on the upper intake have check valves I need to know about.
I saw this post on corral:

What I am guessing is that the two ports that are press fit into the large center tube (from the throttle body) do not have check valves, because they are press fit. They are probably both for PCV? If I do use those for PCV, i should probably put check valves in them, right? (Or do PCV upstream of the turbo with an inline filter, or something like that).
Then there is one barb with a pipe fitting, and a vacuum tree across from it. Does the vacuum tree have a check valve in it, or is there anything I need to know about it? I plan to use it for my megasquirt MAP hookup, although I see that it has some funky tube that reaches into the intake. Maybe this is the perfect one to use for the MAP and vacuum/boost gauge?
Then there is also the barb on the lower rear of the plenum. Reading the corral thread about the PCV hookup, it looks like that one is pretty much a pinhole for oil to drain back out of the plenum into the PCV hose.
