Engine 5.0 lifter tap until oil pressure gets up. Adjustment possible?

I haven't gotten into the lifter issue. Still working on the EEC issue. The lifter sounds like I need to take the intake and all the associated junk off the engine first. A " Make sure you have enough flat work space to put all the parts in order " sort of task.

I need to get some follow up replies on the other thread.

I don't think it is a roller engine. Just a factory stock 302 purchased from a shop . In a crate.

I don't think I used all the SeaFoam. I could try again after we get the startup issue resolved.
