So I just sold my 95 5.0 and made the switch to the 4.6! I picked up a 98 Cobra with 77k miles for $4500. The guy looked sad as he watched me drive away in it. Seems like a hell of a deal to me, what do you guy thinks? I'm lovin this car. May be more expensive to do extensive mods, but it runs a million times smoother than my old 5.0. Mods so far are 4.10s, bbk longtubes, and flows. Also relocated the battery to the trunk, only bad thing is the exhaust tips are wack and no A/C this heat is killing me. Anyone have any experience putting an A/C back into a car?

Great pickup The 4vs love the gear so I imagine its a fun car to drive.

I think some smoked headlights would go well with the black hood as well. What parts were removed with the ac?

Wow you got a good deal on that Cobra. I'd def dump the tips, and get a Cobra emblem for the grill.

Haha yeah you all had the EXACT same thoughts as me, I actually have some smoked headlights and a cobra emblem on the way. I'll get sportlines, chrome tailpipes, some inserts for the back bumper, and fresh tint this wednesday. As far as the A/C I'll need a new compressor, accumulator, and hoses.

Where do you live? I wouldn't be able to stand it without an A/C so that would be my first "mod" lol

Lol yeah I'm actually in NM for school right now, so I definitely need to do that ASAP! Just need to figure out what I need and if I can do it myself.

You can buy and install the parts yourself pretty easily. It is up to you whether or not you want a shop to charge up the system or if you want to chance it yourself. I'll never understand why people pull A/C off of late models.

lol, NM that guy was crazy to pull the a/c off. Looks like a great deal. With a couple changes like you mentioned above it will be a great car.

Good catch! Its a 97 just registered it and everything this morning, I wish I had the center console like in the 98. Did they make the 98's with the same interior color as mine? Maybe I can find one....
