I have a 97 Explorer Eddie Bower with a 5.0L It has 258,000 miles on it & time for a rebuild. I'd rather build it for a mustang instead of dropping it back into the Explorer. I'm getting a higher lift cam but can i use the same crank or do i need to get a beefier one for my fox body? Also can i use my factory gt40 heads?

Short block is identical to 93 mustang with the hyper pistons. You can use your gt40s but you'll want to replace the springs and possibly freshen them up.
Accessory setup, water pump, harmonic balancer are different, so you'll want fox specific stuff
