You still have the axles and brakes from the Lincoln? Don't scrap them if they're serviceable...

might be a little late, but did you put in a new rear seal and oil pan seals??? These are common areas for oil leaks on the 5.0 figured since you had it out (or did).

Looks good to me. If you haven't already been to www.fordfuelinjection.com for wiring assists, or looked up some of jrichker's posts, now would be the time to look. You can find pretty much everything wiring related within those two sources.

When I swapped out my 4cyl. I had a donor and used the wiring from the cpu foward. made it nice and easy. I don't envy the project you have in front of you. (fyi- mine was an 88 and swapped in an 89 5.0 with harness maing it mass air with the factory harness and cpu

Looks cleanish right?

I hate wires...

I dont even know what half of them do...I need a complete wiring diagram for every single wire in the 90 5.0 mark vii and the 92 2.3 mustang, anyone help me with that?

I'm pretty sure if you go to fordfuelinjection.com there is a chart that covers that...that's why I put it up above...

Check out the stickys too...pretty sure most of the stuff you'd need for wiring info are there. Also, if you don't have a haynes manual, now would be a great time for one. They have detailed wire diagrams in the back. They don't show pinouts, but they do give connector numbers where you can at least figure out (although kinda slow-going) what wires go thru which connector. Otherwise, you can probably check over in the 2.3 forums and see if there's anyone there with chassis wiring details. I'd almost think they'd be at least similar on the chassis side to speed/convenience mass production...

I ordered some EVTMs from ebay for the mark vii and the mustang now im just waiting on them to get here. I think the factory wiring manuals are better the the haynes/chiltons

Havent taken any pics lately but ill get some tomorrow. Wires are giving me a hard time. I about had it running today, run for a full 5 seconds then died I did learn that my car (1992 2.3) does not have a fuel pump relay in a normal place like every one elses (under the driver or passenger seat) but mines in a big black metal box with 2 other relays soldered together to a board on the passenger side strut tower area.

Cars a mess right now. I have EVTMs and Factory Ford/Lincoln manuals witch are a life saver But car is completely gutted, no seats, dash, nothing in the trunk, 10,000 wires running all over the place through the car. But itll be running soon....i hope...
