5.0 Trickflow intake question

I have a Trickflow track heat intake for a 5.0 and installed it this weekend. I am wondering if any one has one of these or a streetburner on thier car. I was wanting to know if the plenium wistled. I have sprayed eather around it and no leak. Plus now its surging between 800 and 1000 rpm. Do I need to take the egr part/section off the throttlebody? If anyone has any idea let me know. Thanks

FIRST OFF........ETHER IS VERY VOLATILE......DONT USE IT!!!!

use a carb cleaner or brake clean, as they wont explode in your face if something should go a stray

I run a TFS R series on my 351...no whistle or surge...definatly sounds like you have a leak some where, also check your TPS voltage... i've seen that cause surging issues also..

What kind of throttle body are u running? Many of the aftermarket ones will whistle even though installed correctly. The surge could be TPS or an idle air issue.

It has a 75mm t/b egr spacer and this set up was on a stock H.O intake and run fine no whistles
