Hey all. I am in the middle of a suspension refresh and I feel like now would be a good time to put discs on the rear as well. There is a guy near me selling a 5 lug disc 4.10 rear end. Besides that, what kind of parts do I need? Also I have read that you need a new master cylinder, why is that?

My current favorite is the Cadillac ATS swap.

I think it is the -

GM ATS/XTS Brembo caliper 42mm x4 piston
-2771mm^2 for each caliper
-5542mm^2 for both fronts

You need the new master cylinder because the addition of two calipers in the rear requires additional fluid volume requring a larger bore master cylinder.

You’ll also need booster, combo valve 3-2 conversion parts and provisions for the parking brake
