The only thing im missing (besides paint) on my street friendly notch is a flexplate....as guessed i traded out the fuel injection for a carb and the AOD for a c4.....this orginally was a 4cyl car and i pulled all the v8 hardware out of an LSC lincoln....Where can i find a 50oz flexplate for a c4 that mates up to a 302/windsor? Another thing.....what did all you 4cyl to 5.0 swap guys do about the alternator harness?

Bolt pattern is the same, anything that came factory with a c4 and a 302 will have the flex plate you need. Easiest thing to do is hung junk yards for older trucks and vans, and rob it from them.

Or just get a cheapie off the internet, hell TCI sells one for 90 bucks

year model of the engine/crank determines which weight you need , 80-up I believe is 50 oz TCI and B&M both make 50 oz C4 flexplates

No 28oz is the 351, find a 302 and it will have a 50oz flex plate,

B&M part number is 50239 $116.95 from summit
