Hey everyone what's up? I need some help. I'm thinking of adding a mustang's 6 disk changer + radio to my stock radio and single cd slot. The question is is it possible and will it fit?
As long as your car has the double din size, it should bolt right in. Just be careful that the unit was never turned upside down when powered, or it won't work anymore.
If you're mustang is a '94-'00. you have the separate radios, tape on top, cd on bottom (or pocket on bottom). if you have a '01+ you have the oversized radio. Any Mustang radio from '01+ will bolt into any '01+ obviously. If you have the 2000 or older 'stang, they don't make a in-dash 6 disk changer.
If you're looking to get the 6 disk changer that gets mounted in the trunk, check you trunk as the wiring may already be there.
