How many of you guys are running them, and what issues have you had with installing them?
Not sure If I want to install mine yet as it looks like I'll have exhaust clearance issues.

All opinions/advice welcome.

I installed a few and never had exhaust issues with 2 1/2" tubing going over the axles

Did your car previously have one or did you add the sway bar? I can't accurately say if my exhaust will be in the way or not yet since the car is not sitting with the weight on the springs as the instructions say. I just swapped out my leafs and still have to put on my new shocks and replace brake lines etc before I'm ready to take the car off the jack stands.

Not needed for the street unless it's adjustable. The end link type needs to be tightened to even work at all and that causes problems when you hit a bump going straight. Just go with a little higher spring rate and a pan hard bar!

Not needed for the track either. I removed mine, it caused unpredictable oversteer.

But I like softer rate springs in the rear, let the suspension move. My suggestion is subframe connectors, performance rate 4-leaf mid-eye rear leafs, Edelbrock IAS shocks and a panhard bar.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. The car is not planned to be a dragster or a road course racer, just a fun fairly quick weekend fair weather family cruiser with maybe an occassional quick sprint. It came with the grab a trak suspension kit that I ordered , the rear leafs are 41/2 mid eyes the tech at mustang plus was telling me that 5leafs would be to stiff for my application but not to hard to swap out later if I decide to.

Didn't have any clearance issues. Car does feel less predictable at times (during everyday driving, the rear seems more likely to skip and doesnt' stay planted as well), and also didn't help my wheel hop issues.

However, it does prevent my rear tires from rubbing, which was a big problem before the bar since I didn't get the right offset wheels. Thats the main reason its staying on.

I had one on my 66 coupe. Only two issues.

1. The bar seemed to transmit a bit more road noise into the car. Not a big deal.

2. Even with the 1" front bar, the car felt a little loose in the rain. It was great fun in a parking lot to be able to drift, but day-to-day on the street it was easier to drive without the rear bar.

I took it off. No clearance problems in any case.
