So, if I have a 65 that needs a new radiator support, but I want to put in a 24" radiator, do I:

A. Put in a 65/66 support and cut it out for the larger radiator?

B. Put in a 67/68 support?

If I go with B, is the 67/68 support a direct fit, or will mucho fabrication be in order?

Thanks!

Hey Kelton

This is a cool mod but it does require some thought since you have to remove everything off of the front of your car.

It's a direct fit but there is work and parts needed. There is a little area by the battery tray you will need to fill 2"x1". Then cut off any excess. You will also need to put your battery in the trunk.

The contour of the hood support is identical. If you want hood bumpers, you can use the bolt on ones for the 71-73 cars. The hood latch and top saddle bracket doesn't line up so these will need to be redrilled prior to mounting your radiator.

If you decide to go the 67-68 route, just give me a call if you have any questions...

That's about it but it looks much better than cutting out your 65-66 support.

Looks nicer if you can fabricate a new radiator support. I bought my radiator first and make the support around it. Check out the pics on my site.
