65 Mustang 289 Shorty Headers

Rookie here looking for advice. I have a 65 Coup, 289 two barrel, automatic. Going to do some mods here and there as the budget will allow. I am thinking that I will address the exhaust first as I would like the tone and installing headers before brake booster and a/c seems to make sense. My car cannot be lowered and the exhaust cannot hang down due to the steep incline of my driveway. I am thinking shorty headers and would love recommendations on brand and any tips you can share.
