65 Stang Vin locations?

I have a 65 coupe that was in an accident prior to my owning it.. The driver side door is from another car and there is no vin under the hood on the drivers side.. the sheet metal piece was replaced ( I assume with the door). Is it true that under the passenger side front fender theres another vin stamping? Id like to know. thanks for any info!

Yes, at least 1. I have 2 on my passenger side on my 66.

Look under the right rear seat. All my Cougars have had build sheets placed there.
