will I see/feel a gain by putting a 65mm tb on my stock intake. entire motor is bone stock, except for k&n in factory airbox w/ maf screen removed and silencer removed. I am thinking about a 73or76mm c&l maybe with the true flow pipe...any comments, suggestions-thanks

from my experience, im gonna have to say no. i installed a 76mm c&L maf w/ true flow intake, 70mm tb, 70mm egr spacer, port matched my intake, 180* tstat, new water pump, smog delete, a/c delete, and aluminum UD pullies all at the same time, and the gains were minimal at best! i'd say maybe 10-15 hp, and i have a feeling they were mostly from the pullies. the tb may have even hurt performance, but i'm keeping future plans in mind so i don't have to upgrade twice.... just my experience....

The big restriction right now is the stock lower intake. Even is you go with a bigger TB and MAF the stock lower is going to hold you back.

If you do the C&L keep the stock airbox do not swap it out for a CAI. The C&L is designed to work with the stock airbox. I would save some money and do at least TB/MAF and intake at one shot. That will give you more of a noticable increase. Or spend that money on a having some gears installed. That will give you the most noticable difference.
