will the 65mm tb i have now still perform well with a h/c/i? i dont wanna have to upgrade again when i do the swap

Yes. 65mm wil support hci exhaust and many other mods. You really dont need much bigger for a NA car in my humble opinion.

Most h/c/i combos will be just fine with a 65mm TB.

As Outlaw5.0 says over on Hardcore, it is good for 400 hp.
