65mm Throttle Body

I would do a search on that one I'm sure there is a ton of threads on this subject. Also try TurboFord.org and SVOCA. I think the main deal is better throttle response for daily driving and you can just drill holes in the bigger TB to mount it to your car. Now that is my opinion and really not for sure on it.

Tiny avenger Motorsports sells an adapter that bolts to the intake and then you can put a 65mm throttle body from a 94/95 5.0 on it.

I never could get a link for them that works do you got one? Also I saw someone on SVOCA I think selling one for like 200.00 bux does this sound right?

is that price for the TB and the adapter or just the adapter?

I can't remember off the top of my head but a 94-95 GT TBs are cheap now days. I bought one for 8.00 bux shipped and would guess that 200.00 would be for the adaptor mostly. Now I've heard you can basicaly just drill a couple of holes in the 94-95' GT TB and bolt it right up to your car but I haven't seen it done yet. I also think www.40bob.com would fix your upper intake so you can bolt on a 65mm TB for 25.00 and he sells a cable adaptor for 15.00 to allow you to use the stock TPS. I also think you have to pay shipping both ways on your intake(s).

Hope that helps.

I have one on mine... you need to get the 94/95 style throttle bodies for the BEST fit. It will place the IAB solenoid on the side, rather than on top. Next you have to get the upper intake manifold cut open to 65mm... (already had mine gutted, no problem)... the hard part is you have to weld up the stock holes in the throttle body and drill out new holes that fit to the 2.3 intake manifold... lastly you just make a bracket that moves the throttle cable back... and woosh. big thundering power.

i didnt notice a THING after all that work... i just dont have to push the gas pedal as much now...

You don't need to weld or get an adapter, Get some stuff like j&b weld it comes in atube fill the holes let sit for a day to get fully cured match use the 2.3 gasket mark your holes with a sharpie drill and bolt up you have to play the the linkage and set it up move bracket back.
Also get a dremal much help the little stub on the tb where it needs to hookyou need to round off take your time and viola!!!
Theres a post i posted pics with my 3"" pvc intake if you need more let me know i'll E-mail ya some..
