Hi all,
I've had my car for years but have stopped working on it for a number of reasons, but the interest is back and I'm going to have a few questions.

First for right now is, I have a '66 and I installed a fiberglass hood with hood pins. I just now realized I installed the pins in the wrong spot. I have no idea why I did that, but I put the pins in the radiator support, not where the factory hood bumpers are located.

Anyway, holes are drilled and hood is painted so the pins arn't moving, but if the radiator support isn't strong enough to hold them I need to know. I can probably reinforce the radiator support somehow. Dumb mistake on my part, but i want to correct this asap if needed. I don't need to lose a hood at 70mph.
Thanks a lot for your assistance,
Robb
