69 MUSTANG STEERING BOX

Buildind 69 fastback 428cj , are flaming river steering boxes good? should i find power steering original box and rebuild ? I have manuel now, I understand power is 16to1. Looked at racks but I dont think they are perfected yet. :SNSign:

I can't speak for the 69 Flaming River box but I love my 66 manual steering box. It took all the play out of the steering and made me feel like I actually had some responsiveness when driving. I hope it works out for you if you decide to go that route. If you do buy one I think you will find they are cheaper on ebay enough to make it worth your while to buy it there.

Best thing I found cost- and function-wise is the remanufactured steering box from Borgeson. It costs less than a Flaming River box, is better (IMO) than a local rebuilt box and has a -year warranty. Their customer service is great too. Check it out.
