70 flip open gas cap question

Does the 70 flip open gas cap assembly fit on a stock twist open 70 car without mods? If not, what needs to be done. Thanks.

Yes, just remove the old filler pipe and replace it with the flipopen .

On my 67 I believe I just removed the cap assembly itself and then installed the pop off one without replacing the filler neck that goes to the tank.
