Hey guys, will i benefit at all by going to a 75mm throttle body. Ive got a 333 ci stroker, tfs track heat intake and looking to add single turbo kit. stock bottom end for now. Im thinking with the intake opening as being 75mm, the turbo puping being 3", i should upgrade my whistling 70mm bbk to a 75mm accufab. Thoughts?

I dont think youll notice a big difference going from a 70mm throttle body to a 75mm throttle body, but I would do it just for the peace of mind of getting rid of the BBK, and that it matches the 75mm opening of the Trick Flow intake.

However once I upgrade I will be going with a 75mm Trick Flow throttle body to match my Trick Flow intake. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-24575/overview/make/ford

I think it is a good idea to match your openings.. Is it worth spending a bunch of money?? Not to me.. Unless you can find a used one somewhere I wouldn't buy one.. Money could be better spent IMHO.. Fix the whistling.. It's prob just a sharp edge somewhere that is causing the whistle.

Im also in the process of polishing everything up. I found polished accufabs with the egr plate for 299 brand new. Figuring I can sell mine for 100 or so,looks like im gonna jump on it, kill two birds with one stone!

Turbo with a stroker and you'll be able to make enough power to split the block with ANY throttle body. I don't often say this, but I think in your case going to a bigger throttle body isn't money well spent. Save that money for a Dart or a Windsor, haha.
