70mm tb? bigger,smaller, or what?

but on the graph the 70mm tb maybe produce a bit less peak power but it beat stock 65mm under the curve all the way to the peak.. so technically, you gain hp's from it.

I'm going with 75mm over 70mm myself..

If Im not mistaken, White99GT lost power across the powerband with the 70mm throttle body over the 65mm throttle body. Did we also mention Bill Putnam lost close to a full .10 of a second by using a 70mm throttle body over his stock 65mm ? Basically put, we're yet to see anyone have positive gains with the 70mm throttle body over the 65mm throttle body on a n/a GT without serious work.

thats why you buy a plenum with the throttle body and you will GAIN power. i have yet to see anyone who has lost power with the plenum/TB combo.

But i got tired of preaching it. :nonono: .
They never listen ,because the mags are always right

You are talking about THIS dyno ;)
blue -stock 65mm
red -70mm

if you look closely the 70mm tb made more power from the low end up to the peak where it started to lose power from there vs the stock 65mm tb

So I would say that it's a very MINIMAL GAINS for 70mm over stock 65mm up to the peak point where both curve started to fall.. but the 70mm fell faster. Am I right?
