How many do we have on the board?
I have a 73 Mach 1 that I just restored. Still have more to do of course, but it's getting very close to being "complete" if there is such a thing.
My Mach has a 351 2V engine, C4 transmission, 9" rear open, completely redone suspension, etc.
I'm going to have to have the transmission rebuilt. It's leaking pretty bad and I eventually want to put in a 408 so I need to get it beefed up anyway. It's been a long process getting this car restored, but it's definitely been worth it.

I love the big body Machs...
And of course.. I haven't put the side stripes on yet.. still have to fix a couple paint defects first.
) which left me believing the FMX is an excellent transmission (maybe even better than the C4) - just hard to get parts for. Your I.D. plate (if nothings been changed in the past 30+ years
) will have a "W" for C4 or an "X" for FMX.
