This is what I did
Not sure if you are going to show this car or not but the lines on my 73 were kinked in a few places and I decided to replace them. I had spent so much money over the past 3 years on the resto. that I went a cheaper and easier route on this. I cut the metal tubing at the end of the connecting nuts on all four ends (leaving about 4-5 inches of tube and then used transmission rubber hose that I purchased from O'reillys), then connected the corresponding ends with the tubing and then plastic tied the hose to different places out of site under the car. I have had zero problems with this setup. I would not have done it this way if there had not have been any rubber hose made especially for transmission fluid, Goodyear brand to be exact. Good luck with your project.
