hey guys, ive come to a small problem.....just replaced my holley charger with a dual stage nitrous setup but still have the 750cfm edelbrock....You'd think i would want a 750cfm with around a 150 shot, but the casual driving seems like its too much fuel and will bog it down right at first and then take off. Any ideas on size of carb to go with or a way to make the 750 work well with the mainly stock motor and still have enough fuel for the juice?

For starters that 750 Edelbrock is a turd!! They arent tunable for power and the cfm rating is just too much for that engine. The engine is not creating enough vacuum to suck enough air past the boosters to draw fuel out of the bowls. This is creating a lean off idle bog. I would suggest a Holley or Demon in the 650 range.

:stupid: Get a 'nice' 650, like the Demon, so you can just up the jets later if you need more fuel. I havent found the details yet but my carb is the OEM carb, and the previous owner must have done something to it because it runs like a mofo.
