I'm looking to do a 5 lug swap in my 66 coupe and I have had a 8" rear from an old Maverick project and am wondering how much fabrication would be involved in getting it to fit. I found that the maverick 8" is 3/4 of an inch narrower, but is that enough that it won't work?
If its narrower that just is going to make you have to measure for your offset on the back tires. Honestly I dont think 3/4" will matter though unless you run too fat of a tire.
