I know you mentioned going with a 5 speed, but if you decided to go with a C-4, I've got the correct bellhousing for the mustang II with a 302, flex plate, and 2,800rpm stall converter. The converter is a nice one. It was originally made by Fairbanks Racing, and then re-worked by Art Carr. Let me know if you're interested.
You can email at "[email protected]".
Good luck...........Matt

thanx for the offer on the auto trany but i think i am goign to stick with the 5speed.i went to your domain and liked your car.some of the info was usefull.but i still need to figuer out how to get the cluthc pedal in,also were is a good place to buy the parts i need to convert it

for the peddles you are going to have to start hitting the JYs

as for the KC kit a real one is going to cost the same as a new civic, but I think you can get all the stuff through mustangs unlimited for ~1000
