What's it Worth? $7K Fox Challenge

Here's another, it's been posted in the list more than once. I can't understand the advertising logic behind his title though, just seems weird to me, especially with only 1 pic......

There's a fertilizer plant with less bull than that ad across town from me.

EXACTLY!! Quite possibly why it's been on Craigslist multiple times. I especially like the fact that he has a complete SVO turbo kit with 2 turbos?!?! Does that mean he has an extra turbo laying around for parts? And another Craigslist gripe that we've covered in another thread, punctuation would help the description tremendously!! I mean was it garaged with 9k miles or are they trying to pass off that it cost $9k to repair a transmission?!?! It gives me a headache trying to decipher this ad.....

"garaged till 2012 with 9k repaired trans now has 37k with new lifetime warranty top from atlas here in cleveland ga 2.3 auto with air unrestored original in driving condition , trade for big nice camper or rv will consider old truck in same or better condition, pre 70, for addition 1500 have a complete svo kit , 2 turbo 2 blow offs intercooler piping and fittings , value car at 7500 as it sits 9000 with turbo
kit"

At least they're not trying to "sale" this car!!!

Freshly posted in the Atlanta list for $6500:

those taillights
and headlights.

How much better would this car look with OEM in both?

I'd say this car is a pretty good value at 6500 so long as there's no huge undisclosed issue.

The lines and hoses all look fresh. You can even see ribs in the strut bushing (not dry rot).

if that stuff is all good and you get fresh paint to boot????

Yeah, I'd call it a steal. Anyone near this thing should be headed to take a look.

The motor may even have been rebuilt.

If I had the money and the desire for yet another car, I'd take a look. I mean fresh paint as well as the added supercharger, as long as it's not going bad, pretty much make it worth the asking price. If it were me, I have an extra set of both head and tail lights and I could swap the wheels from the vert and call it a day for now. But I have neither the money or the desire for another car right now, so.....

I can't even think of anyone off the top of my head that [is] in the market for a Fox.

Everyone is buying AWDs for some reason

Beautiful car but what does ' need to be tuned ' really mean?
new injectors, chip or reflash of computer?

My guess would be that it needs an EEC tune. Driveability probably sucks and injectors used are too large for the A9L.

Can't see a single injector in the one engine bay image tho So no way to know.

$3500 is a steal for this LX.

Oh wait...read the description.

I tried really hard to find a clean Foxbody on my local (Boston) craigslist and failed. There were less than 10 foxes on there and all were not that clean. Here are honorable mentions.

This convertible is kinda cool. Even has nice flofits. But, still not clean enough for me that I would actually buy it.

That's all I have. Back in Aug, there was a VERY nice reef blue/titanium 1993 GT convertible for sale for $7K. Black interior, excellent shape, AOD. I thought really hard about picking it up. It was in excellent shape and 100% stock. If i had a link to that, it would be a good contender for a car worth $7K all day. Seems nobody wants those AOD verts

Paid $55K, asking $59K. With inflation, that's a $20K loss. Should have thrown that into a mutual fund instead or at least drove the car
