8.8 or 9" rearend

I need help figuring out if a 8.8 rearend can handle the stress when it launches off the line or if i should swap it for a 9". I don't want to get on the track with an 8.8 and take off and it break.

how much power do you have? Ive seen some super fast cars running 8.8s
