Build Thread 84ttop: I Suck At Updating This Thread...

rich people have all the fun!
Please....

costco had some really nice 4' led lights for $40 bucks each a while back, they look similar to a fluorescent light and work great, if anyone is in the market. I put up 8 on my garage ceiling.
This was an option, problem being I would have had to buy new fluorescent fixtures and gut them to use this type of bulb. At the end of the day I got a better lighting package with only a little more expense than going the other route.

The cat being out of the bag now I am more then excited for the new car but better yet lights out should be off the hook !

I'm excited TOO!!!

@RaggedGT Not a pester at all, it was a matter of time before I got moving on this. To be honest I expected the shop to be done by now and the car build underway. Life gets in the way of plans some times and that will just have to be OK I guess :)

I present the "new" 97 Cobra
It's not much now but is slated to be a 25.3 chassis Ultrastreet car when finished some time next year.

Car will be parted out for what I don't need to help fund some new goodies

That is going to be an awesome car. I am looking forward to the build thread for it-and looking forward to the used parts sale coming up as @TOOLOW91 is hoarding all his old parts lol I call dibs on the interior lol
I have those same wheels:ack::ack:

Aluminum Teksid block in that thing?

Joe
Motor and trans are already gone, basically brakes/suspension/interior will be getting parted out

I'd love to see how light you can make that SN95. Before I bought my current moneypit...I mean project, I really wanted another 94-95 but I know how heavy they are compared to this little fox coupe. I miss my 94.
I am expecting to get the car down to 2,900 fully dressed in Ultrastreet trim with the driver, this would allow me to put ballast in where we need to so the car scales correctly

Shame you're not in NJ or close to, this car has amazing tan leather seats in it :)

i think CFM is working on some new glass parts for the SN cars...

you using your current motor or building another one?
Nice, I'll have to look into it!

As of right now the same motor will be transplanted, it may get some new parts in it but that's up in the air. It seems like with these smaller blowers the motors make more power with less cubic inch. 400 ci seems to be where alot of guys are now, we will see how my 438 does this year to determine any changes.

you being on M1 you could throw a metric ass load of compression at her also. make up for what the little blower wont make boost wise
You don't think the fuel debate may come up again at the end of the year ? Something tells me that whole debacle is under the carpet again and not off the table as far as banning still . This year as everyone is flying it will come back up like :poo: slinging in the sky because it's the easiest to blame . Just my opinion though .

yup everyones quick to blame stuff... granted the M1 opens up a lot of options but it isnt the reason person is fast. tons of work knowledge and money went into those cars that started the **** storm
I agree . It comes down to the biggest wallet playing the rules to the T . And maximizing on the combo.

After, four lights per row, about 10' apart, going to do 2 more perpendicular to those at the front of the car for more light under the hood also.
