costco had some really nice 4' led lights for $40 bucks each a while back, they look similar to a fluorescent light and work great, if anyone is in the market. I put up 8 on my garage ceiling.

This was an option, problem being I would have had to buy new fluorescent fixtures and gut them to use this type of bulb. At the end of the day I got a better lighting package with only a little more expense than going the other route.

@RaggedGT Not a pester at all, it was a matter of time before I got moving on this. To be honest I expected the shop to be done by now and the car build underway. Life gets in the way of plans some times and that will just have to be OK I guess

Why are you guys referring to the S550 car as an SN car? It's the 2015 Mustang that your are transferring parts over to right?

I present the "new" 97 Cobra
It's not much now but is slated to be a 25.3 chassis Ultrastreet car when finished some time next year.

Car will be parted out for what I don't need to help fund some new goodies

That is going to be an awesome car. I am looking forward to the build thread for it-and looking forward to the used parts sale coming up as @TOOLOW91 is hoarding all his old parts lol I call dibs on the interior lol
I have those same wheels

I'd love to see how light you can make that SN95. Before I bought my current moneypit...I mean project, I really wanted another 94-95 but I know how heavy they are compared to this little fox coupe. I miss my 94.

I am expecting to get the car down to 2,900 fully dressed in Ultrastreet trim with the driver, this would allow me to put ballast in where we need to so the car scales correctly

Nice, I'll have to look into it!

As of right now the same motor will be transplanted, it may get some new parts in it but that's up in the air. It seems like with these smaller blowers the motors make more power with less cubic inch. 400 ci seems to be where alot of guys are now, we will see how my 438 does this year to determine any changes.

You don't think the fuel debate may come up again at the end of the year ? Something tells me that whole debacle is under the carpet again and not off the table as far as banning still . This year as everyone is flying it will come back up like slinging in the sky because it's the easiest to blame . Just my opinion though .

before... I had 1 4' fluorescent light when i moved in, definitely not enough.

After, four lights per row, about 10' apart, going to do 2 more perpendicular to those at the front of the car for more light under the hood also.
