hi,i own a 86 capri with a stock 86 5.0l ho,i have a set of gt-40p heads with crane 1.7 cobra roller rockers and the p specific ford headers.i would like to know if this heads and rocker combination with the stock cam will clear the non valve relief piston in the 86 block,tks[/B]
Nope Not a chance. Gotta notch those pistons. The only head that will fit the 86 without notching the pistions is the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge and that's not even a sure thing on every application. Nothing else will fit without notching those pistions
tks,i might have a chance to trade my gt-40p`s for a set of thumper ported stock heads with stock valve sizes,would i be able to use them on my 86 with the 1.7 or 1.6 rockers,tks
