86 LX issues and repairs

G'day all, new here. I posted about my Stocker build, here's is another that I bought to race until the white one was done. It's from out west with only 89,000km's on it so I decided not to butcher an all original car. However, it did have issues. Here is getting it running and racing it.

There might be enough room in there for a big turbo

Swap it for a 4.2 out of a newer truck with the processor and wiring. The dual intake runners will help, turbo that

LOL! Yeah it's slow but it's a bracket car (the 3.8 isn't in nhra's guide) It fits in the toy hauler so when we go camping (non race weekend) we can take it with us to cruise around when the RV is parked. It's all original so I don't have the heart to cut it up or anything like that. That's what my racecar is for, lol.
